The Renewable Energy Development Organization (REDO) was officially established in New York on early 2010. Three regional offices based in:
1- New York (USA).
2- Spain (Europe).
3- Kuwait (Middle East).
Mandated by these offices worldwide, REDO will promote the widespread and increased adoption and sustainable use of all forms or renewable energy. Acting as the global voice for renewable energies, REDO will facilitate access to all relevant renewable energy information, including technical data, economic data and renewable resource potential data. REDO will share experiences on best practices and lessons learned regarding policy frameworks, capacity-building projects, available finance mechanisms and renewable energy related energy efficiency measures.
Mrs. Ghadeer Alsaqabi was appointed General Secretary
for REDO. For her hard work by setting the programs and Raising Budget for the year 2010 and adopted important rules and regulations that will shape and guide the work of the Organization in the future.
